It offers Customizable Gauges, Data Recording, Diagnostics, Navigation, Performance Calculation, and more all from a high resolution color touch-screen. It Patent Pending technology is so far advanced that competitors will spend years trying to bring their low tech, low resolution cabin monitors to the level of functionality that DashDAQ offers right now.

Explore this site to learn more about DashDAQ's features, custom software capabilities, and expansion options for connecting to 3rd party sensors, race systems, and EFI controllers. Support directly DTA, Haltech & Autronic more to come... se below for details.

What is DashDAQ?

DashDAQ is a windshield-mounted cabin monitor that easily installs in seconds. DashDAQ’s unique feature set allows you do many different things all from one screen:

What separates DashDAQ from all other gauges and digital dashboards is it's high resolution color display and customization capabilities. DashDAQ's 4" touch-screen offers 480x272 resolution and 24-bit color. Here is an image at the resolution it will be viewed on-screen:

DashDAQ has six built-in themes that offer different colors and styling for the gauges. Those themes are: Classic, Sport, Neon, Tuner, Night, and Metal.

If you want to change the six original themes or create your own, DashDAQ has a unique gauge skin system that allows you to make your own dashboard. You can also create several different gauge pages in your theme, and switch between them easily. DashDAQ's skin software supports alpha blending so you can use graphics that contain transparency areas. You can design pages that include analog round gauges, digital text boxes, graphs, and more. Here are just a few samples of how the dashboard could be laid out.

Customizable Dashboard Display
• Display sensor data from the Factory OBD2 ECU, showing more data than the factory dashboard
• Customize your dashboard with your own background, graphics, and gauge layouts
• Expand your dashboard by adding analog inputs, serial devices, USB Host devices, and 3rd party products
• Replace the factory instrument cluster for hot rods and motor swap projects using one or more DashDAQs'
Data Logger and Flight Recorder
• Show info on gauges in real-time
• Record to optional MMC/SD card, up to 4GB
• Calculate Horsepower, Torque, and Performance
• calculate MPG and set configurable trip counters
Diagnostic Tool
• Find out why your check-engine light is on
• Read and Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes
• View sensor data to figure out which parts may be defective
