Toyota MK IV Supra. The rear end is stock and supposedly good for 1000hp. We are running a "Drive Shaft Shop" competition shaft (which also broke).
The mountings to the chassis need to be replaced with solid bushings. This size slick fits the car with the only modification being to roll in the lip on the fender. The chassis can squat down very low before the Slick touches anything. |

It has been a while. Unfortunately the project never made it to the races as the owner has now decided that 3700lbs is just too much.
We are presently going to a full NHRA 6 second chassis and replacing the Getrag 6 Speed with a COAN Engineering Power Glide. The build process can be followed here: http://www.carvtechpc.com/carvtech-c...-projects.html |

i`d say it`s a good decision
...do not wasting potential engine on stupidly heavy chassis without traction.
