    You can not expect any "Universal" knock board in some time.

    If you are interested in one for your car take contact with your dealer, and he can look into it.

                  You can get a SM4 with patch adapter to EVO8, we make for EVo 1-8.

                      any more people with experiences that wants to share? Can you adjust the sensitivity of the knocksensor with the knockboard?

                        Yes as above more info would be great please. Maybe some datalogs of what it can do? I'm surprised more hasn't been said about them here.

                            I have tested the knock board for some while now. It works as it should. It can dynamically adapt ignition per cylinder to control knock, and it can also control knock by fuel enrichment and lowering of boost pressure. All rates and thresholds for the knock adaption can be set in the calibration.

                            The car i test the knock board in is my Impreza, with a 22B engine in it, and some other modifications, like front mounted intercooler, tubular header and a larger turbo, (VF43). First i tested with the cat on the car, which had a rattling heat plate. The knock sensor picked that noise up. Not surprising, since the rattle can be heard with headphones. The knock board detected the rattle, and produced spurious single step retards for it. Not continuous knock detect, but single events, and only for one of the cylinders at random. After sorting the rattling cat heat plate, (by decatting ), and also a mounting plate for the air intake pipe which also had a rattle, everything worked fine.

                            What i am not so pleased by, is that i now know that i have very good knock margin on that engine. About 22 degrees extra ignition is needed at 0,4 Bar boost and 4000 rpm to get the knock board to detect knock. But to my great dismay no gain in power can be found with anything more than MBT ignition on that engine. So i am displeased with that i could not find any extra power by running more aggressive ignition together with the knock board.

                            The knock board runs perfectly well with launch and WOT shifting. Occasionally i get single knock events when running ALS. But that was expected, and does not harm anything.

                            Still testing the knock board. And waiting for the day i get to fill up the tank with a batch of foul petrol, or having an injector, spark plug, or anything else failing, and having the knock light from the Autronic lit up. Instead of frying the engine.

                              Sounds good Wroom. Have you found any one cylinder more prone to knock under full load with your engine?

                                How do you go about setting them up for the engine, i don't see any setup controls in the software? bore size ect...?
