    Hi,
    I've got perfect idle (950-1000) without AC, but when I turn AC on, and rev the engine a little bit it stall going down below 800-600-400 rpms. If I rev it a litte bit only it drops to 600 rpms, oil pressure light goes on and off and usually it recovers to 1000 rpms. Do you have any idea how to deal with this ? I tried several times but have no idea how to make it not to stall and I don't want to have 1200 rpms idle because i will not pass emission test. During normal driving conditions it also wants to stall and have to rev it a little to recover...

    Before we get started is it possible for you to change to SM4?. SMC can be made to run acceptably for motorsport car. SM4 can be made to run like standard EVO. Is this an SMD, that is, a plug in board?.

      Ii dont have SM4.t
      SMC PnP 1.99 for Evo. Car is 2.3 Stroker, GSC S2 cams, gt3076 (3037) turbo a/r .82. 1000cc RC2-1000 injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump.

        Yes, I understand you do not have an SM4. I asked if it was possible for you to change to an SM4. Do the injectors fitted match the ecu injector selection?

        The attached file has a few changes. The Voltage Sensor is set to surface mount SMD rather than Pin26. In stepper setup line 5 number of steps is set to 130 instead of 220.

        There are some changes in the fuel table.

          Unfortunately there are no chance to change to SM4. Injectors are correctly setup as Rochester (Ian said so some time ago). Thx for changes I will try them and tell how it works

            Another issue I can see is the idle ignition timing. You are using a lot of ignition advance to support idle rpm.I would suggest you adjust the idle screw to achieve your desired idle with the settings in the attached cal file. Adjusting the idle screw may require adjusting the TPS to maintain the closed throttle volts at less than 0.5V. There is also a TPS reset procedure so if you are not familiar with that please ask.

              You are right, I use ignition to prevent stall. Your modifications works great! I tried to switch back power to Pin26 but it's ruins everything, Regarding _AB cal file version I don't need to adjust TPS. This one works very smooth, please take a look here:

              What I did is some ignition mods at ignition table to prevent very harsh spool from 900 to 1500 at very little throttle and have to adjust warm up table to prevent stall during warm up.

                Some good progress. Power pin set to SMD is correct for plug in ecu. Pin 26 is used with SMC only in certain wiring configuration. Here's another cal with a few changes. In
                the Idle IAC Air control screen reduce the TPS limit to 1% and increase Fuel compensation to 4.5%. Also some changes in the cranking ignition timing screen.
                And tidy the rev limit commence axis. Thanks for the video.

                Did you adjust the throttle open more?Can you please proved a log file of cold and hot idle showing IAC setpoint and IAC valve posn%.

                  So, I tested 11_AD file. Without AC is fine, with AC it drops after rev too much and Oil pressure warning light goes on for a second but recovers. Please find 2x video and log file. I also did TPS learn procedure.

                    Before testing 11_AD file I drove to friendly test station to check if I will pass smoke test. I adjust fuel and idle ignition. In 1000 rpm position I drop a lot of fuel to pass, but when I rev the engine on rev drops oil pressure light goes on (it drops down to 500 rpms, the same with AC ON). The file from that is called 15_2. I also open the Idle screw a little bit (one full turn up)

                      What is the standard for the smoke test, CO% or CO% HC ppm CO2% and NOX ppm?. There are a lot of issues in your .cal file, the charge temp estimate is not correct, injection end angle may be correct depending on whether the cam trigger is installed correctly or 180? out. Is there anyone in Poland competent to address these issues?.

                      I have studied your log file however it has many red flags which means the rpm went below PC Logger setup trigger value. Please set that to 400 rpm. and do another log.Also enable the coolant temp in logging.

                      I can see at the start of the log the idle valve position is varying a lot. This is caused by having the IAC Air control adaption rate set too high. Try 300 and 10 in the Dynamic comp. With a fully warmed up engine and AC off I set the idle screw so the IAC valve position is approx 10% with the IAC adapt as close to zero as possible.

                      Why have you changed the cranking ignition timing back to zero and one degree? This would give very poor starting.

                        I just use an old file for the smoke test purpose. It starts quite vell on warm engine...

                        The standard is Euro 3 (Evo 6, 2001). are HC <200 (86), CO<2,3 (0,18), NOx<0,15(--). The cams ar GSC S2, Cam trigger set in standard position.
                        There are no people here which are using Autronic, I've got one friend who helps me with the ignition and fuel map on the road, but he is a Honda/ecuflash man. The rest is up to me. I bought autronic around 2005 and it was tuned in 2.0 engine, then the man didn't have a time for 2.3 and then disappears (changed the job). I received memory upgrade once from him around 2010 and that's it.

                        I will try to do the stepper setup as you said and will make a new log files, (the cranking was from old file, I just use it form smoke tests)

                          Is that a drive cycle test such as the IM240 we have here? I have achieved Euro 4 with SMC, Galant VR4 4G63 engine with similar spec cams and same injectors. Closed loop control is a significant benefit
                          for emissions, it does require a very finely tuned base fuel table and charge temp estimate.

                            No, it's stationary (no rolling road), on idle (measured values) then have to keep revs on 2000 rpms for 30 seconds and that's it. 2000 rpms is not a problem, idle is. It's friendly test station but next year it will have on line connection to central database (new law) so have o deal with that to not to have a problem next year. I welded new 3" catalic converter for Euro 3 emissions (200 cpi). I've got HC 3000 before, with catalic converter 1500 and after leaning fuel map on idle 86.

                              Is the injector ballast resistor still fitted or has it been removed. Ian suggest VTG in Warsawa for tuning.
