  • Cam sync sensor for Chrysler V8

    The engine is a 1970 Chrysler 7.2 Liter V8.
For the crank reference I am using an MSD trigger wheel with 4 magnets and the Cyl IP lead set to 60 degrees.
I am currently running the engine without a cam Sync signal and batch injection mode.
The engine runs fine, but now I want to switch to sequential injection mode, so I need to install a camshaft position sensor.
For this I will be installing a magnet in the cam gear and using a hall effect sensor.
Can anyone tell me the number of degrees BTDC at which the sensor should align with the magnet in the cam gear?
