A cal is attached for an E9 JDM with v1.07 configured for Mitsubishi MAP and Air temp sensors, Autronic Baro sensor and dual boost solenoids.
For that cal check the following jumper links on the circuit board;
JP2 (air temp) - link on pins 2 & 3,
JP51 (MAP sensor) - link on pins 2 & 3,
JP55 (Baro sensor) - link on pins 2 & 3.
Yes, if the Evo 8 is a JDM with the same 3 plug connector. You need to turn the variable cam parameters Off and also change to the Autronic MAP sensor (or fit an external MAP sensor) as Evo 8's did not have the MAP sensor in the manifold.
Thank you for the reply. Ian. It has been a great help. i have some issue with the idling now after the tune. i have just change the throttle body and the problem still coming back. idle not stable will spike to 3000rpm for 5 sec then drop to normal idle. is there any possibility of ECU faulty?
i change a new set of throttle body with stepper motor.It was working perfectly fine before the tune. The spike will come when i stop the vehicle. that means is after driving and closing the throttle when coming to a stop.
I am in agreement with Ian as the stepper may very well be the cause of the rapid and drastic increase in engine speed. What you can do is complete a log reflecting the commands being sent to the stepper motor and its position while the problem is happening. This is of course assuming that the problem can be repeated quite easily. Are you comfortable setting up logging parameters within the software?

440 kpa absolute, so 3.4 bar of boost. If you are going near that limit make sure you set high values in the MAP sensor Limp Home Table in case the limit is exceeded.
