          Good day,

Please note that you need to click on new reply and not quick reply when you are responding to have the access to the paper clip icon which is used to attach files.

          Cheers!

Hello again. I have some good and bad news.now i have cylpulse and cyl sync pulse. But cyl pulse is getting extra pulses? The Ecu errors is cyliner i/p sensor fault, cylinder i/p pulses missing and last one extra cylinder pulses detected between each sync pulse. now my little question is. is it all a setting adjustment on my part or do i have a bigger problem.could it even be hal sensor that is broken? Thanks in andvance.

That is a special trigger pattern. Can you tell me the location of the missing crank teeth with respect to TDC Cyl #1 and also the location of the Sync pulse with respect to TDC Cyl #1.

Hello Ian. that trigger pattern is incorrect my mistake.I saw now that det missing tooth on sync must be in the region of the missing teeth on the crank.I think that the 60-2 5c trigger pattern would work better i hope . Now to the pulses,When the sync pulse is on tdc cyl1 then crank pulse is 16 teeth before the 2 missing ones on tdc. I hope that it makes sense to you.my english isnt that good.thanks alot for the help.

Hello. I wonder why my sm4 dont like the cylinder pulses. doesn`t matter what you do.could it be the hall sensor on the 60-2 crank wheel that makes my hair grey? I read somewhere on a swedish forum. that the hall sensor on the crank with a 60-2 wheel could get strange pulses?

Is my understanding correct that the Sync pulse occurs at TDC Cyl 1?
And the missing crank teeth align with the crank sensor 16 teeth after TDC?

Hello Ian the sync pulse is correct but the cyl pulse is 15 teeth before tdc

Hello again. i have of course a few other problems the ecu shows less volts than it should do. i will check pin 1, 15 and 30.because there was a forum member who had the same problem.I hope that its a miner problem and not the ecu.I now that i should not post this in the cal section but i wonder if this could have something to do with the wrong readings of the cyl pulse and not getting the cyl sync right.i really hope that someone reads this and would solve those problems that i have.Have a nice weekend everyone.

                            greetings samson

Try the attached cal. You must check the ignition timing with a timing light.

What does the voltage read on the screen? It should be the same as the voltage on pin 15 of the SM4.
