  • Ford 347 s/c cal?

    hi was wondering if anyone had a base cal for a 5 liter windsor to suit smc
    it is stroked to 347 and is running vortech v1 s/c just need a basic cal file to start and idle so can get it on the trailer?? so can get it tuned

    Sir, when requesting a cal file you should advise at least the following

    Trigger type and configuration

    Ignition type and configuration

    Injector type,/part number

    Base fuel pressure

        i am only guessing as this is my first autronic install so plz be gentle on me
        i think its a twin hall effect senor for trigger (bosch type distribtor) 8 slot wheel for cyl pulse and single tone wheel for cyl referance

        have wired up the msd 6al to ingnition one output for ve + trigger

        for injectors 621031 lucas 42lbs

        fuel pressure 45 psi

        firmware is 1.94 i think just had the chip upgraded to have auto tune before i installed it


        dont need to tune it my self just need a base tune so can start it and check for leaks and stuff before it goes to dyno

            Try the attached cal but first make sure you centre the distributor rotor with the engine at 20 deg BTDC and then do NOT move the distributor after that (and also ensure that nobody else moves it either). If the ignition timing is not correct either adjust the Cylinder Pulse Offset angle and/or change the Cylinder Pulse polarity.

                thanks guys cal worked a treat also managed to send signal to factory computer from msd to fool factory computer into thinking its running so a/c and fans and dash gauges and cruise works
