Can i hook the dashdaq to my autronic ecu mine is smc version 1:99 with autotune.

Yes you can, it has driver for SM4 and SMC.

are they any good,it a pain 2 set up laptop,all the time,then also i want to upgrade as well.

does the dashdaq 11 get hard wired into the smc1.99 or does the cables go into where the laptop goes as i am interested in buying one of these.

It goes in the laptop connector with RS232 and serial datastream.

can you use the autronic data lead is there a program you have to use for it as well.

You use a cable I supply with the Dash, it has the DashDaq connector on one side and the 1/8 stereo plu on the other side.
