SM2 logging ,how?

I tryed to log some valuses with SM2 yesterday but I couldn't save the file to my laptop. I started logging with F8 after logging I stoped by pushing F8 again.I go to Edit-window menu try to save loged file ,I choose the destination and give a name but it didn't save it to my harddisk. How can I do that ?Thanks.

Try displaying the logged data first. To display the data press the F10 key. When you have the log in the active screen then do the Edit - Save etc.

Ok I did that ,when I click the save button ,it asks me where to save the file I choose the directory but nothing happens.Do I need to do something with the command line or ctrl. button optins ?
