View Full Version : Two vehicle speed inputs on SM4

Hi guys,

I'm running an SM4, not sure what version, (I'm guessing 1.06). Only HSI3 is designated as a vehicle speed input, however I would like to run two inputs (one for front and one for rear). I don't plan on using traction control as I don't have that option, I would just like to log both wheel speeds and calculate the slip ratio.

If I use HSI2 or HSI1 for the other wheel speed, is there anyway I can scale the output so it reads km/hr just like the vehicle speed output?

Thanks,

You need an SM4 1.09 chip.

I think we need a section in this forum that tells us whats in the latest chip upgrades.
Without any usfull info on the Autronic site it makes it hard to know if there is any good reason to upgrade.

I may plan adding this, but the main reason for not telling about 1.09 is because it is not officially released yet.
All new functions needs to be tested properly before a release will be public.

I get back with this as soon we will have a go on publishing this.

So until public you need to contact your dealer if available or Ian with a private PM or e-mail.
