Almost ready for upcoming season. Last month finished with engine and have been for tuning on engine dyno at VM-Performance, Sweden. Joakim made great work with mapping this little (compared to Protruck engine :)) beast. We are using 3.0 2JZ with dry-sump, Sm4/R500, VP C16 fuel. Engine made over eleven hundred in both HP and NM and will be fitted on prepared full-body Supra chassis. I will add some pictures of the car when we`ll get it back from painting. First event of the season will be at 30.-31.05

Need a little help with calibrating VSS or maybe someone have VSS calibration for supraTT 6-sp manual gearbox? Need VSS for boost modifier setup.

Figured out gear ratios and VSS setup for tyre size we have. It was easier then i thought and works like a dream. It is just so good to get also gear/VS on datalog, along with other advanced information we`re logging on, perfect!

I use this on my car just for" showing". Another competition track car I set up uses this. The team asked me "we want Anti-lag only at first gear", I said no problem you have a SM4 and I do not know of any Brand coming even close to build functions. So I set up a GPC based on his input knob analog 3 and Gearing ratio, send this to a Software variable and used this in I/O Switches to Variable to convert output from GPC to a software variable switch that enables the Anti-lag. You can do this without the I/O switches by assigning the anti-lag to software variable directly. But better to make a clear setting so a log will show all hardware switches and software switches in a more advanced way.

So wish us luck for tomorrow, actually for today allready now. We need to test and setup many things, hopefully everything will work good for us.
Also have there 2 other Sm4 drag cars to support.

We made 4 shakedown passes on low boost (240kPa) setup and have found good launch settings allready on 3. run - 1,3xx 60ft (MT 28/11,5/15). Best run is new unofficial class record - 9.6xx @ 240kph. Also have tested braking chute for 1.time - very gentle, no problem.
Next weekend is 1. Estonian championship weekend, then we`ll have some updates ;)

Some updates from season 2009. This year we`ve used TH400 gearbox on this car and had more troubles than with getrag manual. Gearbox failed in every event and have been upgraded/repaired many times. Still, yesterday we`ve managed somehow new personal best 9.246@250, but TH still not shifting correctly.

Another update from last race of season 2009.
9.208@252 60ft-1.452
1.time this season transmission worked good, 3 runs in 9.2, best speed 256
It seems now to be very limit for traction we have...
Hopefully we`ll test on some proper strip next year. This season is over.
PS! it was also limited to 10.5" this season.

BTW. Car is for sale now. Very good price, great spec car, super reliable engine with dry sump etc. Located in Estonia. Actually very sad to sell it as there is still much unused potential, but thats owners wish. Please contact if any interest, samvel@es-racing.ee
