Does Autronic manufacture a 54mm trigger disk for Nissan FWD SR20 distributors/cam angle sensor? I currently have the 50mm disk which i believe is designed for the RWD SR20 CAS. The 50mm disk fits inside the distributor, but the difference in dia makes the cyl pulse sensor and reference sensor "windows" very small when they pass the pickups. I redrew the disk and can have it machined if i have to. If i need to get it machined, what is the best material to use?

Thanks

50 & 54 mm are both available. Two versions also with the three holes for mounting or not. Mitsu or Denso (i beleive) sensor.

You buy them from your Autronic dealer! Look for the dealer closest to you.

well the dealer closest to me does only subarus..

next closest is VW..

and the one i got the system from seems to have flaked out..he wont return emails and no one answers the fone there..

can i upgrade the firmware to 1.09 and will that run on the original trigger disk or do i need to change a chip in the ecu as well?

i have a SM4.. - have the honeywell sensor mounted for crank trigger- 2 triggers- now i just need cyl reference.. and i can try to start it- i have a Cal file already.
ka24de/jenveys/nissan comp efi intake..

Yes 1.09 will work with stock trigger disc, but you need to fit a diode between the two signals (we have the wiring). BUT your crank mounted trigger is much better with no timing scatter so I would prefer to use that with a modified disc for a single gap to the sync signal. Is the disc 50 mm or 54 mm dia? and 4-cyl engine? And then I would uppgrade for all other reasons to 1.09....

4cyl.

need 50mm disk.. all i see holding it on is the center bolt that mounts the rotor
dont want to use a diode- and yes i want to use my crank trigger.. so need 2 disks (for a spare engine)

whats the cost for the chip upgrade -- mac@ bessecure.com

i've emailed the 3 closest dealers-- will see if anyone has this in stock.. but my guess is no..

Well just say so if you need the disc and chip.
