Does this startup map look okay?
The engine is a totally stock M3 E46 engine (S54B32) except for removed VANOS.
The settings I'm most unsure about is the Primary fueling method and Cylinder I/P lead.
I also use a R500 CDI for the ignition.

With BMW 60-2 triggers the missing teeth are normally at 96 and 90 deg with the other teeth every 6 deg apart with a tooth at TDC so the 75 deg lead angle doesn't seem correct. If you have checked this with a timing light and it is correct then I think the crank sensor polarity is reversed.
To have the offset as 15 should correspond to a Cylinder Lead angle of 72 deg. And are you sure the Sync sensor is Hall type and not Reluctor. The 3 wire BMW sensors are normally a 2 wire reluctor with the 3rd wire being an electrostatic shield.
Otherwise it looks ok although the TPS Accel Closed 1000 and 6000 values look swapped.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for your input!
I took a peek at your CAL for the S50 and changed Cylinder Lead angle to 180. I then got a little low Sync/Cyl percentage and set the offset to 10. Then I got Sync/Cyl of 90%.
Should it be lower than that? The manual says 20-80%
I am pretty sure the Sync sensor is Hall.
If it were not would I be able to start the engine?
I also thought I would get som error on the Cyl Sync?
After modifying the above settings the engine fired right up. Since it was without coolant I was not able to run it for long (30s or so). I just wanted to see that I got oil pressure and there were no ugly sounds.
I appreciate any help I can get since this is my first Autronic install I am doing on my own. As far as I know I am the first to run Autronic on this engine.
