Hi
What would be the ideal location for the air temperature sensor on a Subaru STI.
I'm thinking before the throttle butterfly but after the intercooler.

Is your engine a later STI variable cam engine? If so the air temp sensor is located within the MAP sensor ion the intake plenum. For early Subaru I have always put them in the throttle body for ease of fitment, but am not sure this is the ideal location.

It is the later variable inlet cam engine. I'm currently using the stock MAP sensor for intake temperature only, its located in an after market MAP sensor housing.
I would like to fit to the ideal location, in your opinion where would that be?
