Are you sure you set up menu "ECU Logger Setup" for logging in internal ECU.
If you want to log in PC which you normally do when you have pc connected you set up the log in menu "PC Logger Properties" If you log in PC just hit F10 to bring up the log.

Does the autolog work with the PnP ecu, that would be very intresting to setup on my evo.

Yes, you can use the ECU internal logger in the PNP also.

I routinely set it up to continuously log eight important parameters at 5 samples per second in the ECU when the engine rpm is over 3500 rpm.

By doing so, i have a log of the last minutes on load to watch the day something goes bad with an engine.

And setting the rpm trigger at 3500 means the car will log the important 402 meters, but not log the slow run back to the pit. ;)

This was useful one day when i had the ability to ask a metalworker why the **** he was abusing my car severely and trying to break the rev limiter instead of fixing the panel. Logs are very useful.

how do you setup this log on the PnP
Connect with the ECU using the calibration software. Then select menu Logger / ECU Logger Setup.

Then select the channels you want to log.
Select the logging rate.
Please note that the maximum logging time for the number of channels and logging rate selected is displayed below in the logger setup dialog.

Then select trigger. For example choose rpm only, and set the trigger rpm to, say 3500 rpm.
that way it will log whenever the rpm is above 3500.

Select unprotected logger mode to make the logger overwrite the oldest logging samples to log countinuous while the trigger is valid.

Save and exit.

Then you can retrieve the logged contents from the ECU under the Logger menu in the cal software whenever you want.

Please note that the contents and setup of the ECU logger gets erased if the ECU is disconnected from the battery for a long time.
