When cranking my engine I am getting too much fuel in the chamber without getting any spark. I have to take out the plugs and clean them because its saturated with fuel. Once i clean it the engine starts. is it the timing of the Ignition while cranking( I have it set at 6 degrees in the table). or are the injectors spraying toomuch fuel?
below are the details which might give you a better idea of what are my settings:
-Evo 7 PnP 2. lt Stroker

can you check my .cal file attached.

I have done some mod to your cal file. Test it.

You should be able to set base ignition from 0 to 1000 rpm at 20 degrees flat, and about 63 in base fuel table at the same load sites.

This is obviously dependent on what injectors you have, fuel pressure, as well as fuelcal mul. But relative to the rest of the table you should end up with something like those values.

In the table "Cranking ignition" you can set 6 deg@100 and 12deg@300 rpm.

Also, since you have a stroker, (not knowing the exact geometry you have), and "cylinder pulse offset" is set at 76 degrees, you should limit the ignition on vaccum to be at most 33 degrees, and possibly as low as 31 degrees. That will make the engine run better on vaccum.

Speaking from my own experience.

Wroom,
Thanks for the info. But can you clerify what does "Cylinder pulse offset" actually mean. thanks

Robert,
Thanks for the help i'll look into the *.Cal file that you have changed

Cylinder Pulse offset is the angle where your crank trigger teeth are. This value should be changed until you have the same ignigion angle with a timing lamp and on the software. If you have stock engine the value is 78 but we do not know with the strooker. Check with a timing lamp.

Change setting like Wroom said, he is superior with EVO´s.:)

Thank you. Could you come to my garage and tell it to my JUN EVO so it will hurry up and get finished soon. :D

One thing to remember wih the Cylinder Pulse offset is that for SMC/SMD PnP ECUs one can adjust the timing "globally" by tweaking the value a bit from the actual degrees that the crank sensor leads to engine TDC. This is true for SMC1.99 chip version. This is not the case for a SM4 with either "mitsubishi sync pattern" or "subaru sync pattern", where the value set in Cylinder Pulse offset seems to be overriden. (I have not tested this on other than 1.06 and 1,07 versions).
