The car running a Chevy 447cid BB with twinturbo and methanol.
The fuel and ignition are a SM4 with special drivers to support the 24 1600cc injectors and ignition is 2 custom built 500R.
Dyno tested to 2285 hp and 2300 Nm
Best ET and speeds are:
60 ft 1.05 sec
1/8 mile 4.25 sec and 278 km/h (174 mph)
1/4 mile 6.59 sec and 348 km/h (217 mph)

Just wondering what cost needed to build the car?

I really don't know but I'm sure its more then 100.000 euro.:eek: And many 1000 of hour.:confused:

We have now run the updated engine in the dyno with a nice result.
2537 hp @ 8500 rpm and only 2.1 bar of boost.
1999 hp @ 8300 rpm and 1.5 bar

Great setup, congrats on the results you are having with it!
Robert, can I get the information on how the SM4 and CDI are set-up for this application? And at what power/boost level the CDI modification was necessary and the coils used.

The SM4 is stock except the driver boards are modified by Richard at Autronic, most components are doubled to handle the 24 injectors. 2 x CDI 500R is also modified by Richard and is used with M&W Modified Mercury coils, one alternative that may be better for coils are the Crane PS92 (but heavy....)Jocke had plans for swapping to them but I do not know if it is done. Also using a Multiplexer for 8 O/P.
