Hi guys,
I have a Sm2 from my old cossworth and now I am installing it to my Audi A4 ,I have 1.99v chip in it so my question is ,do I need high speed modification for the ECU? Thanks.

No you do not have to do that if you use two teeth at crank...but if you are using 60-2 the answer is yes.
I have added the mods in Forum downloads.

I don't understand ,isn't the 2 teeth at crank means the same with 60-2 ?

Does your Audi have 60-2 crank trigger?

The highspeed mod is done when there are many teeth at crank. If your Audi has motronic triggering (60 tooth with two missing called 60-2) you need to do that mod. But the SM2 can use pulse per cycle which is when you have only two teeth at crank separated 180 degrees , then you do not need the mod.

I believe all the A4 (4 cyl. and 6 cyl.) engines use the 60-2 setup. So, if you're going to use the stock crank trigger you'll need the high speed mod.
