Hi guys,
I have been struggling to connect my new laptop to my SM4.
I have all the settings as they should be:
Bits / Sec: 19200 kbps
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Fifo: off
My laptop recognises that there is a cable connected. When I connect my RT Dash 2 to the laptop with this cable it works fine, but the Autronic s-ware gives the following error in a new pop-up window called "Ecucal":
"Range Check Error."
Does anybody know what has caused this / how to solve this?
I have tried 2 different laptops with 2 different RS232-USB cables, all combinations herald the exact same error message.
