I am not 100 % familiar with Ford but from memory there are on version with 36-1 and the other has four teeth at crank. Both can be used, normally the distributor is modified to on signal each camshaft revolution.

If it has the 4 lugs on crank then you remove the 0dg and 180 lugs and set the ip lead angle to 90dg,
Then as you look at the distributor then as you look above it with one lug pointing at 12 oclock then you remove the lug that points at 9pm, Set both for mag/reluctor signal,
If 36-1 then nothing need to be modifide crank is mag and ref is hall, I havent got a map on me but the ip lead should be around 110dg but I would need to check this.

Can you Mark tell how good should the trigger accuracy be with 2 lug or 36-1 setup in YB engine? How much ignition jitter should there be with engine idling 900-1000rpm with 1.06 SM4 version? Should it be visible/noticeable with timing lamp?
